Weekly Ministerial Reviews:

• Kejriwal plans to meet two ministers every week to review the progress and performance of their respective departments. This initiative aims to maintain transparency, accountability, and efficiency in governance.

• The chief minister’s goal is to stay actively involved in decision-making processes and offer strategic directions for effective administration.

Visitors and Communication:

• AAP leaders Sandeep Pathak and Bhagwant Mann recently met Kejriwal in Tihar jail, where the chief minister shared his plans for departmental reviews.

• Tihar officials confirmed that Kejriwal has added ministers Atishi, Kailash Gahlot, and Saurabh Bharadwaj to the list of approved visitors who can meet him twice a week.

MLA Engagement and Community Outreach:

• Kejriwal emphasized the importance of MLA engagement with the public. He urged AAP MLAs to conduct door-to-door visits in their constituencies, listen to people’s concerns, and address issues promptly.

• The chief minister’s directive underscores the party’s commitment to grassroots governance and responsive representation.

Legal Proceedings and Challenges:

• Despite his confinement, Kejriwal is actively pursuing legal remedies. The Supreme Court sought a response from the Enforcement Directorate by April 24 on Kejriwal’s plea challenging his arrest in a money-laundering case related to the alleged excise policy scam.

• In a separate court hearing, Kejriwal’s judicial custody was extended until April 23 in the money-laundering case.
